Get Minecraft Bedrock Edition

EpicSMP runs on Minecraft Bedrock Edition. If you don't have it yet, purchase and download it from minecraft.net. Make sure you're running the latest version.

Bedrock Edition is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Launch Minecraft

Open the Minecraft Launcher and log in with your Microsoft account. Click Play to launch the game.

Make sure your game is updated to the latest version for the best experience.

Go to Multiplayer

From the main menu, click Multiplayer. If you see a warning about online play, click Proceed.

You'll need an active internet connection to join multiplayer servers.

Add the Server

Click Add Server. In the Server Name field, type EpicSMP. In the Server Address field, type play.epicsmp.org. Click Done.

You only need to add the server once — it'll save for future sessions.

Join the World

Select EpicSMP from your server list and click Join Server. You'll spawn in at the welcome area. Read the signs, grab some starter resources, and start your adventure.

Say hi in chat! The community is friendly and happy to help new players.

TIPS FOR NEW PLAYERS

Start by exploring the spawn area — there are free starter resources and helpful signs.

Build your first base at least 500 blocks from spawn to find unclaimed land.

Introduce yourself in chat — other players are happy to help and trade.

Read the rules board at spawn before you start building.

Don't be afraid to ask questions — this community loves helping new players.
